More from Klopp
Jurgen Klopp was delighted with the youth players and was pleased with the defending.
Speaking to TNT Sports, he said: "Defensively, we were really strong. Ibou [Ibrahima Konate] was really strong, but the medical department decided he couldn't play 90 minutes, which is why I took him off early.
"We lost rhythm with the changes, but that's it.
"We will go to Union to win, but it's good that we don't have to."
The manager was also delighted to give a European debut to Connor Bradley.
"I love it!
"And you could see in just a few moments that Connor is a real talent, it's so nice to see the boys.
"I told him after the game to enjoy it."
Klopp pleased to top the group
Jurgen Klopp is buzzing that Liverpool have won their Europa League group.
Speaking to TNT Sports, he said: "[The] most important thing is that we are top of the group.
"There was a lot of good stuff and some things I didn't like too much, but that's how it is.
"We still have to grow and develop but this game should have been put to bed before half time.
"If you are in charge, kill it, and we didn't do that.
"Then we gave them chances and made mistakes.
"But winning 4-0 is fantastic."
