However, Stan wasn't always so enamored of social media. "I was so against social media for such a long time," he said in a 2016 interview with GQ, " but now I can't live without it."
A big part of that shift, Stan mused, had to do with how social media has now become integrated into the promotion and publicizing of film and television projects. Now, however, he feels that "individual connection is important" between stars and their fans. According to Stan, "once you get a great message or see some artwork, it's really humbling. I see it as a plus in that regard."
